Here's the flaw in your argument. The Steve Jobs admirer should have known that the right to the likeness of Steve Jobs couldn't simply be taken without permission of Jobs or his family. This was his likeness and well meaning as the doll creator might be they had no right to use the likeness of Jobs or any other human being, without getting permission. Jobs family has every right to prevent him from being reduced to plastic and ball joints. And to attempt to compare the technology revolution Jobs created to someone ripping off his physical likeness makes little sense. There's no rebellion in creating a doll without permission of the man's family and since Jobs is no longer here to approve of being reduced to a desk sized toy, I think his family's wishes deserve respect and not scorn. - Robin Ruinsky
